Six Years of Excellence: Mahakaushal University Celebrates Foundation Day

The Sixth Foundation Day of Mahakaushal University was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity in two sessions. The program commenced with the traditional offering of garlands to the idol of Goddess Saraswati, followed by the chanting of Saraswati Vandana.

At the outset, the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Dr. R. C. Mishra, presented the university’s annual report and highlighted its academic achievements. He informed the audience that the university has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 41 national and international institutions to promote academic programs and research activities. He also shared details about patents, research papers, and published books, reflecting the university’s steady academic progress.

The Chief Guest of the first session, His Holiness Swami Naradanand Ji Maharaj, Peethadhishwar of Siddha Sachchidanand Ashram, Ujjain, guided students through his enlightening discourse on Vedanta, Yoga, and Meditation as pathways to self-realization and mental peace.

The session was presided over by Dr. Pratibha Tiwari, State President of Bharatiya Stree Shakti and Representative of the Honorable Chancellor. She read out the message of the Honorable Chancellor, Dr. Anil Tiwari, emphasizing that the university is entering its sixth year with a vision of enhancing both knowledge and skill development. He highlighted the importance of employability and self-employment, stating that modern education must go beyond degrees and contribute to nation-building with social responsibility, aligning with the vision of a “Developed India.”

Dr. Pratibha Tiwari, in her address, congratulated the university family and students on the Sixth Foundation Day. She informed them about the availability of modern laboratories, advanced equipment, and a well-equipped library, encouraging students to utilize these resources effectively and become job creators rather than job seekers.

On this occasion, her authored book titled “Adhyatma Pratibha” was formally released by the dignitaries present on the dais.

The Special Guest, Dr. Rajesh Verma, Vice-Chancellor of Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, appreciated Mahakaushal University for setting new benchmarks through its employment-oriented academic programs, which benefit both students and society. He extended his best wishes to students for achieving their future goals.

Other distinguished guests, including Mr. R. R. Pandey (Airport Director, Airports Authority of India, Jabalpur), Dr. Surendra Singh (Registrar, Rani Durgavati University), and international guests Guillermo Sanchez Hey and Maria Lucia, also conveyed their congratulations to the students, faculty, officers, and staff on the Foundation Day.

Mr. Rakesh Sthapak motivated students to dream big and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to achieving their aspirations.

In the special address of the first session, Ms. Soumya Tiwari, Department Student Head of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (Sagar Division) and State Executive Committee Member, stated that Foundation Day is not merely a ceremonial event, but a moment to reflect on values, national thinking, and patriotism. She emphasized that nation-building begins with citizens’ conduct, guided by the concept of “Panch Parivartan” (Five Transformations), which includes Swadeshi and self-reliance, environmental protection, social harmony, civic responsibility, and strong family values. She concluded by encouraging students to overcome academic challenges with discipline and time management, reaffirming that education is the foundation of progress and transformation.
