The Accounts and Finance Division of Mahakaushal University is responsible for maintaining financial transparency, accountability, and integrity in all fiscal operations of the University. The section ensures that all income, expenditure, assets, and liabilities are recorded accurately and managed in accordance with statutory norms, UGC guidelines, and government regulations.
Our financial management practices are guided by principles of good governance, fiscal prudence, and efficient utilization of resources to support the University’s mission of academic excellence and institutional growth.
Key Functions
Preparation and maintenance of Annual Accounts including Receipts & Payments Account, Income & Expenditure Statement, and Balance Sheet.
Monitoring of all financial transactions and ensuring compliance with UGC, AICTE, and State Government norms.
Coordination of Internal and External Audits to ensure financial discipline and transparency.
Preparation of Budget Estimates and effective fund allocation for academic, administrative, and developmental activities.
Submission of Annual Audit Reports and Financial Statements to statutory authorities within prescribed timelines.
Ensuring transparent utilization of grants, student fees, and other institutional resources.

All documents are made available in downloadable (PDF) format to ensure transparency and easy access.
Audit and Compliance
The University’s accounts are audited annually by a Chartered Accountant empanelled with recognized authorities. The audit reports are reviewed by the Finance Committee and approved by the Governing Body before submission to the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other statutory bodies.
In case of any government funding, the accounts remain open to inspection by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, as per the norms of financial accountability.
