Overview

The Vigilance Cell, under the leadership of the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), is committed to upholding these principles across all university activities and operations. The Chief Vigilance Officer plays a crucial role in promoting ethical practices, detecting and preventing corruption, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and administrative procedures. The Vigilance Cell acts as a watchdog to ensure that public funds and resources are utilized efficiently and that all stakeholders uphold the highest standards of conduct.

Objectives of the Vigilance Cell
  • To promote integrity and transparency in all administrative, academic, and financial activities of the university.
  • To detect and prevent corruption, malpractice, or misconduct at any level.
  • To ensure strict adherence to rules, policies, and procedures.
  • To educate and create awareness among staff, faculty, and students about vigilance and ethical behavior.
  • To provide a platform for employees and stakeholders to report complaints confidentially.
Functions of the Chief Vigilance Officer
  • Monitoring and supervising vigilance activities across departments.
  • Investigating complaints related to corruption, irregularities, or misconduct.
  • Coordinating with external vigilance agencies, as and when required.
  • Conducting periodic audits and inspections to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Promoting preventive vigilance through awareness programs and campaigns.
Complaint Mechanism
Individuals may report vigilance-related matters in writing or via email. Complaints must include factual details and evidence, and frivolous or anonymous complaints will not be entertained.
Note: All complaints will be handled with strict confidentiality.
