At Mahakaushal University, Jabalpur, we are committed to maintaining a fair, respectful, and supportive academic environment for all students, faculty, and staff. To uphold these values, the Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) has been established in accordance with the UGC (Grievance Redressal) Regulations, ensuring that any concern, complaint, or grievance is addressed promptly and impartially.
Objective
The objective of the Grievance Redressal Cell is to provide a formal mechanism to resolve issues and concerns raised by students, employees, and other stakeholders of the university in a transparent, fair, and time-bound manner.
Functions of the Grievance Redressal Cell
To receive and examine grievances from students, faculty, and staff.
To ensure speedy resolution through appropriate channels.
To promote a respectful, harassment-free, and inclusive academic environment.
To uphold the principles of fairness, equality, and natural justice.
To maintain confidentiality during the grievance process.
Types of Grievances Handled
The Grievance Redressal Cell addresses issues related to:
Academic and examination-related matters
Admission, attendance, or evaluation issues
Infrastructure and facility concerns
Harassment, discrimination, or unfair treatment
Hostel or transportation problems
Administrative delays or inefficiencies
Any other concern affecting the university experience

Note: Cases related to sexual harassment are handled separately by the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) as per UGC and Government of India guidelines.
