Overview

The Academic Calendar of Mahakaushal University provides a structured schedule for all academic and co-curricular activities conducted throughout the academic year. It serves as a roadmap for students, faculty, and administrative departments to plan teaching, examinations, holidays, and university events in a systematic manner.Our calendar is designed in accordance with the UGC guidelines to ensure uniformity, academic discipline, and timely completion of all courses and examinations.

To ensure timely commencement and completion of each academic session.

To facilitate efficient planning of teaching, evaluation, and examination processes.

To maintain coordination among departments for smooth academic operations.

To provide clarity to students and faculty regarding schedules, breaks, and important events.

Structure of the Academic Calendar

The University follows a semester system (or annual system, if applicable) for its various programs. The calendar includes:

• Commencement and conclusion dates for each semester / academic session.

• Schedule of admission, orientation, and registration.

• Teaching and practical class schedules.

• Mid-term and end-term examination periods.

• Vacation and break schedules (summer, winter, Diwali, etc.).

• Co-curricular and cultural activities.

• Dates for internal assessments and result declarations.

• Important university functions (Foundation Day, Convocation, Workshops, Seminars, etc.).

Compliance

The Academic Calendar is prepared and approved by the Academic Council and subsequently ratified by the Governing Body of the University, as per the UGC norms.
