The Department of Law at Mahakaushal University, Jabalpur, organised a special lecture to promote legal awareness and provide guidance to students. Ms. Deepa Tiwari, Advocate at the Supreme Court of India, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Representing the Department of Law, Mr. Yugank Khare, Ms. Shobha Mishra, and Mr. Taranhar Singh were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Guest, Ms. Deepa Tiwari, has been practising as an advocate at the Supreme Court for the past 20 years. For the last 15 years, she has been providing free legal assistance to women in need and has also served the National Commission for Women for five years. Through the Samashti Welfare Foundation, she continues to work towards the empowerment of women and young people.

During the lecture, she highlighted important provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), constitutional rights, and the importance of legal literacy. She encouraged students to develop a practical understanding of the law and fulfil their responsibilities towards society.

At the conclusion of the programme, the Department of Law expressed its gratitude to the Chief Guest for her valuable guidance and presence.

The programme aimed to foster legal awareness, strengthen students’ commitment to justice, and develop a sense of social responsibility among future legal professionals.

महाकौशल विश्वविद्यालय में गणतंत्र दिवस का भव्‍य आयोजन

महाकौशल विश्वविद्यालय, में 26 जनवरी, 2025 को गणतंत्र दिवस के अवसर पर भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में आईपीएस अधिकारी श्री आनंद वर्धन शुक्ला जी, वि.वि. के उपकुलाधिपति डॉ. मुश्ताक आलम जी,  कुलगुरु प्रोफेसर आर. सी. मिश्रा जी, कुलसचिव आचार्य हरेन्द्र सारस्वत जी, निदेशक श्री शिशिर तिवारीजी, श्री समीर तिवारी जी, शिक्षकगण, विद्यार्थी एवं  कर्मचारी उपस्थित थे।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत  मुख्या अतिथि द्वारा ध्वजारोहण के साथ की गई। इस अवसर पर उपस्थित सभी सम्मानित अतिथियों, छात्र-छात्राओं और शिक्षकों ने राष्ट्रगान में भाग लिया और राष्ट्रध्वज को सलामी दी।

मुख्य अतिथि, आईपीएस श्री आनंद वर्धन शुक्ला ने उपस्थित जनों को संबोधित  करते हुए गणतंत्र दिवस की महत्वता पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा कि यह दिन भारतीय लोकतंत्र के सशक्त होने और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के महान बलिदानियों को याद करने का दिन है। देश के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति देने वाले शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए श्री शुक्लाजी नेसभी से एकजुट रहने और भारतीय लोकतंत्र की मजबूती के लिए काम करने का आह्वान किया l उन्होंने युवाओं को अपने कर्तव्यों के प्रति जागरूक रहने और समाज के विकास में योगदान देने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

विश्वविद्यालय के  कुलगुरु  प्रोफेसर आर. सी. मिश्रा ने सभी विद्यार्थियों, शिक्षकों और कर्मचारियों को गणतंत्र दिवस की शुभकामनाएं दी और इस महत्वपूर्ण दिन को राष्ट्रीय एकता और अखंडता के प्रतीक के रूप में मनाने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा, “गणतंत्र दिवस हमें यह याद दिलाता है कि हम एक स्वतंत्र और लोकतांत्रिक राष्ट्र हैं, जिसमें हर नागरिक को समान अधिकार और स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त है। हमारा संविधान हमारे मार्गदर्शक तत्त्व के रूप में कार्य करता है, जो हमें एकजुट होने, शांति बनाए रखने और समाज के सभी वर्गों के कल्याण के लिए प्रेरित करता है।”  उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय में होने वाली शिक्षा, शोध और अन्य गतिविधियों के बारे में भी जानकारी दी।

इसके बाद  वि.वि. के CFAO श्री मनीष शुक्ल जी ने विद्यार्थियों को न केवल अच्छे नागरिक बनने, बल्कि समाज में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने के लिए भी प्रेरित किया। अपने विचारो को व्यक्त करते  हुए उन्होंने एक कविता के माध्यम से वीर जवानों के योगदान को भी बखूबी दर्शाया l

कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्रीय ध्वज की रक्षा और सभी छात्रों को अपने कर्तव्यों के प्रति जागरूक करने के साथ हुआ। इस अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय के विभिन्न विभागों के छात्रों द्वारा सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियाँ भी दी गईं, जिसमें गीत, नृत्य और नाटक शामिल थे। धन्यवाद् ज्ञापन वि. वि. के कुलसचिव आचार्य हरेन्द्र सारस्वत ने दिया एवं कार्यक्रम का संचालन संस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रभारी श्रीमती रुपाली मिश्रा द्वारा किया गया l

कार्यक्रम में विश्वविद्यालय के शिक्षकगण, कर्मचारियों और छात्रों की बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थिति रही। यह आयोजन महाकौशल विश्वविद्यालय के लिए एक अविस्मरणीय दिन बन गया और सभी ने इस दिन के महत्व को महसूस किया।

‘हमारा सम्विधान,हमारा स्वाभिमान’अभियान के तहत महाकौशल विश्वविद्यालय में सम्विधान पर निर्मित फिल्म का प्रदर्शन

2025 में भारतीय संविधान के 75 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में देशभर में उत्सव मनाए जा रहे हैं। इस अवसर पर महाकौशल विश्वविद्यालय में ‘हमारा सम्विधान,हमारा स्वाभिमान’ अभियान के तहत दो  दिवसीय विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया जिसका उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षको में भारतीय संविधान के प्रति जागरूकता और सम्मान बढ़ाना था। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत संविधान पर आधारित फिल्में- ’द मेकिंग ऑफ़ कांस्टीट्यूशन ऑफ़ इंडिया’ एवं डॉ भीमराव आंबेडकर’ का प्रदर्शन किया गया, जो संविधान के महत्व और उसके निर्माण की प्रक्रिया को दर्शाती है।

कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य और महत्व:
भारतीय संविधान देश की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण धरोहर है, जो न केवल हमारे अधिकारों की रक्षा करता है, बल्कि हमारी लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था की नींव भी है। ‘हमारा सम्विधान,हमारा स्वाभिमान’ अभियान के तहत यह प्रयास किया गया कि संविधान के 75 वर्षों की यात्रा को सम्मानित किया जाए और इसके प्रति जन जागरूकता बढ़ाई जाए। फिल्म का उद्देश्य संविधान के इतिहास, इसके निर्माण और इसके महत्व को नए दृष्टिकोण से प्रस्तुत करना था। यह फिल्म विशेष रूप से युवाओं के लिए बनाई गई थी, ताकि वे संविधान की महत्ता को समझ सकें और इसे अपने जीवन में उतार सकें।

महाकौशल विश्वविद्यालय में आयोजित कार्यक्रम:
महाकौशल विश्वविद्यालय में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों ने भाग लिया। फिल्म का प्रदर्शन एक संगीतमय, विचारणीय और प्रेरणादायक तरीके से किया गया, जिससे दर्शकों को संविधान की रचना के समय की चुनौतियों और संघर्षों का अहसास हुआ। फिल्म में डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर और अन्य प्रमुख नेताओं के योगदान को भी उजागर किया गया, जिन्होंने संविधान के निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान, विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ आर.सी. मिश्रा ने भी संबोधित किया और छात्रों को संविधान के प्रति सम्मान और इसके महत्व को समझाने की कोशिश की। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि संविधान केवल एक कानूनी दस्तावेज नहीं है बल्कि यह हमारे समाज, संस्कृति और नैतिक मूल्यों का प्रतिबिंब है।

सम्पूर्ण देश में उत्सव:
यह उत्सव न केवल महाकौशल विश्वविद्यालय वरन देशभर में मनाया जा रहा है। विभिन्न संगठनों और शिक्षण संस्थानों द्वारा सम्विधान के महत्व पर कार्यक्रम, चर्चाएँ और फिल्म प्रदर्शन आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं। यह पूरे वर्षभर चलने वाला उत्सव संविधान के प्रति राष्ट्रीय एकता और गर्व को बढ़ावा देता है।

निष्कर्ष:
संविधान के 75 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के इस अवसर पर आयोजित ‘हमारा सम्विधान, हमारा स्वाभिमान’ अभियान ने भारतीय संविधान के महत्व को पुनः स्थापित किया। महाकौशल विश्वविद्यालय में फिल्म का प्रदर्शन इस अभियान का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा था, जो दर्शकों को संविधान के प्रति नई दृष्टि और सम्मान प्रदान करने में सफल रहा। यह कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थियों  और आम नागरिकों को संविधान के प्रति उनके कर्तव्यों और अधिकारों के बारे में जागरूक करने में महत्वपूर्ण कदम साबित हुआ।

From October 4 to October 6, 2024, IIT Kanpurorganized the “Udghosh-2024” sports competition, in which students from Mahakaushal University participated in various sports events and achieved outstanding results, winning both gold and bronze medals.

It is noteworthy that IIT Kanpur organizes the “Udghosh” sports event annually. In this year’s event, multiple sports competitions were held, with participation from over 450 universities, colleges, and institutes.

A total of 22 participants from Mahakaushal University took part in the 2024 edition, with student Lawlesh Kumar securing third place in both the 400-meter hurdles and the 400-meter race, earning a bronze medal for the university. In the Ultimate Frisbee game, the Mahakaushal University team triumphed over IIM Lucknow with a score of 15-1 and went on to defeat IIT Kanpur with the same score of 15-1, advancing to the semifinals. On October 6, 2024, they defeated IIT Bombay 15-1 in the semifinal and proceeded to the final, where they clinched the gold medal by defeating Ashoka University 15-4.

The exceptional performance of Mahakaushal University’s sports coach Mr. Vishal Mishra, Mr. Shyam Parmar, team captain Ms. Shraddha Tiwari, vice-captain Harsh Kori, and team members Aryan, Anish, Om, Harshita, Muskan, Palak, and Lucky led to the university’s gold medal victory, bringing pride to the institution. Other participants from the university also delivered commendable performances in the competition.

The university’s Dean of Academics, Dr. Bhawani Singh, played an active role in selecting students for the competition and supporting their practice and preparations.

In alignment with the vision of Honorable Chancellor Dr. Anil Tiwari, the university continuously strives to offer various activities catering to students’ interests and talents, aiming to identify and nurture these talents so the university can actively contribute at national and international levels.

Honorable Chancellor Dr. Anil Tiwari, Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. R.C. Mishra, University Director Dr. Mushtaq Alam, and Registrar Dr. Harendra Saraswat extended their congratulations to all the winners from the Mahakaushal University family for securing medals in the competition. The university hopes that this victory will inspire other students, motivating them to prepare diligently for upcoming competitions and bring further pride to the university.
