Mahakaushal University, Jabalpur, is pleased to announce the MKU Sports Fest 2026, aimed at promoting physical fitness, team spirit, discipline, and healthy competition among students.
Participating Teams
- Team A: Agriculture
- Team B: NEP + Engineering
- Team C: Pharmacy + Veterinary
- Team D: Law
Sports Events
Students will compete in the following indoor and outdoor events (Men/Women as applicable):
- Badminton (Singles & Doubles)
- Cricket
- Chess
- Kabaddi
- Kho-Kho (Women)
- Shot Put
- Carrom
- Long Jump
- Athletics: 100m, 200m, 400m races
Important Instructions
- Names of participating students must be submitted by the respective Department Heads to the Sports Department on or before 30 December 2025.
- Students are eligible to participate only in their own department team.
- Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for participation.
- Carrying a valid University ID Card is compulsory during events.
- A student may participate in a maximum of two sports events.
- Winning and runner-up teams will be awarded trophies, medals, and certificates.
- โMan of the Matchโ awards will be given in each cricket match.
- Special awards will be given to disciplined teams.
Match Schedule Highlights
- Cricket Matches:
- League matches from 05 January 2026 to 09 January 2026
- Semi-Final: 11 January 2026
- Final: 12 January 2026
- Other Sports (Badminton, Chess, Carrom, etc.):
Events will be conducted between 05 January 2026 and 09 January 2026 as per the detailed schedule released by the Sports Department.
(Match timings and fixtures may be revised depending on participation and administrative requirements.)
Discipline & Conduct
- Indiscipline or violation of rules may result in immediate disqualification, and the concerned participant will not be allowed to take part in any other competition.
- Decisions of the organizing committee will be final and binding.
